Vaucluse offers a caring structured program which assists patients to recover from their drug dependency and helps them to achieve a more normal and healthy life style.

We provide an inpatient program, 7 days per week with various health focus sessions, such as harminimisation, physical and psychological wellness.

Vaucluse Alcohol & Drug Unit program has been developed in conjunction with medical practitioners specialising or who have a professional interest in alcohol and drug detoxification.

The Vaucluse Alcohol & Drug Unit is overseen by an alcohol & drug dependency committee which is comprised of the medical practitioners, program manager and other health professionals.

Assesment:

All patients are assessed by an experienced Medical Practitioner from the Drug & Alcohol Team Paramedical and nursing staff, in consultation with the patient will be involved in the assessment and formalisation of a treatment plan.

Vaucluse Alcohol & Drug Program offers the following:

Medical and nursing staff will assist and supervise the patients physical condition through withdrawal and provide physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual support.

Back-up is available from specialist Psychiatrists and other professionals as required.
